What's the biggest self discovery you've made over quarantine?

After learning and relearning so much in the last 6 months in quarantine about what it means to be a Black person / woman in America, the biggest lesson I took is that Black Joy is a form of protest. I try to find it anywhere I can, mostly in nature.

What makes you feel most human?

Living in NYC in quarantine made me feel human. Seeing NYC form into a cocoon for 3 months and then transform into the beautiful butterfly that it once was really made me feel alive.
