A Note from Bea: Reflecting on Our First-Ever National Campaign

By: The Honey Pot Company

Think about how your period makes you feel. Overwhelmed? Annoyed? Relieved? On top of the world? All the above, depending on the day? Believe me, I get it. Your experience can change day to day, hour to hour, and you can celebrate it or dread it. But no matter what, it’s yours, and you deserve to feel seen and supported during your period and beyond.

That’s the idea behind our new campaign, Periods Made Better™, a true labor of love created for humans with vaginas. It’s our first-ever national campaign inspired by the herbal ingredients in Honey Pot’s Cooling and Calming Infusion pads and I could not be more excited and honored to share this milestone with you.

It’s truly beautiful. We’ve finally reached a point in our journey where we can invest—thoughtfully and intentionally—in telling the stories of our products and the humans we serve. It’s a deeply proud moment for me, and I’m incredibly grateful.

Honey Pot began when I was suffering from bacterial vaginosis and could not find a solution that worked—until one night, when I was visited by my grandmother in my dreams. She told me that herbs were the key to healing, and since then, Mother Earth has been my muse, guiding everything we do. The goal has always been to create a revolutionary personal care ecosystem rooted in herbs and ancient medicine.

The company may have started with me, but it’s always been about our community who we’ve built the brand alongside.

I’m so grateful to our team and our agency partners, who utilized their incredible talents to bring this campaign to life. It’s the work of a collective group, many of whom were humans with vaginas who have experienced the range of emotions when it comes to having a period—from agency partners and strategists to designers and copywriters. They brought the most valuable perspective to every angle and asset.

I can’t adequately express how much it means to see our campaign come to life around our home base of Atlanta and in some of our major cities where our community is based. To know that someone may be driving to work, hitting the gym, or moving to college and seeing our words, our imagery, and our products when they need them most is a testament to our mission at Honey Pot. It’s another way to say, “We see you. We get you. We’re here to help.”

Periods are natural and should never be stigmatized or shamed. Instead, we’re here to make the journey a bit easier. There will never be a “perfect period,” but our goal is to make you feel cared for throughout your period experience, with products to add a little comfort (and in the case of our Cooling Pads, a little tingle) when you need it most.
