Reclaiming Wellness

Reclamation of Space

At the heart of wellness lies the need for safe, supportive spaces. Historically, Black-owned spaces have been vital sanctuaries—fostering connection, creativity, and healing while nurturing a profound sense of belonging and resilience.

Reclaiming these spaces allows community members to nurture their minds, bodies, and souls while honoring their historical role in fostering strength and well-being within the Black community. Amid today’s challenges, these safe spaces are more vital than ever for Black women’s health and empowerment, serving as a foundation for healing and reclaiming wellness.
